We at Roosevelt Veterinary Center know that pets are like family, which means compassionate and personalized treatment for all the animals we see. Whether your pet is canine, feline, small, large, young or old: every animal that comes into our veterinary hospital receives individualized care tailored to their lifestyle and needs.
Lead veterinarian, Dr. Allison Glassman, founded the Roosevelt Veterinary Center in 2005 and is backed by an equally professional and caring hospital staff offering a full range of services.
Our patients do not experience excessive wait times, nor are they even expected to remain away from their pets at any time during the visit. Our open hospital policy allows and encourages owners to stay with their pets through exams, vaccinations and many treatments.
Our experienced veterinarians and staff are always on hand during office hours for unforeseen emergency veterinary services. We also cater to urgent care needs, fitting patients into the schedule who cannot wait to receive important aide from our veterinarians. We also provide house calls and 24-hour service calls when needed.
Based on the age, lifestyle, breed or even species of a pet, our veterinarians can advise on the most effective diet, pet vaccinations (including rabies vaccinations for ferrets), vitamins, minerals and other supplements that can help ensure the healthiest and lengthiest lifespan. Our goal is to not only treat pets but to educate pet owners so they can make the most informed decisions on their pets' care.
Annual check-ups at Roosevelt Veterinary Center include a thorough "head-to-tail" exam, inoculations with any necessary pet vaccinations and, if applicable, a dental checkup for the pet. Our convenient and state-of-the-art facilities are equipped to handle a full range of diagnostic and surgical procedures, including digital imaging and ultrasonic pet dentistry. Our Brewster veterinarian also offers laparoscopic surgery done with small incisions and the use of a camera, in addition to all other aspects of medical and dental care.
Both of our locations carry helpful preventative medications and dietary supplements for dogs and cats, including flea, tick and heartworm prevention collars and products, joint support supplements, and nutrient and antioxidant supplements. Be very wary of these products when offered online; many are counterfeit and are not guaranteed by the manufacturer.
We look forward to serving your pet care and veterinary needs and pride ourselves on providing Brewster pet owners with high-quality care and neighborly service at affordable prices.
