Dr. Allison Glassman, and the entire Roosevelt Veterinary Center team, are proud to announce the creation of a second office in Beacon, NY. Our new hospital, located in historic Beacon, will be called Roosevelt Vet on the Hudson. We are in the building phase now and hope to be open by the middle of June. We will be promoting our new office at the upcoming Beacon Barks Main St. event on April 28th from 11-3. Please bring your dog for a fun day and visit us at our table. Krystal Barrette will greet you at the front desk and maintain a thorough record of your pet vaccinations and health treatments. (We’ll also help you stay on top of pet vaccinations with annual reminders.) Aspiring veterinarian, Larry Barrette will help you settle in for your visit. A member of the team will discuss spay & neuter services (if needed). We are constantly striving to keep Roosevelt Veterinary Center the Brewster community’s preferred pet hospital.
Led by our veterinarian, Dr. Allison Glassman, our pet hospital staff supports pet-lovers in the Brewster community throughout their ownership experience. She’ll recommend options for treatment and guide you (without judgment or pressure) on the course of treatment that fits the needs of your family.
As part of our commitment to being the best veterinary hospital in Brewster, Roosevelt Veterinary Center offers low cost spay & neuter services. This is done every Thursday as service to the community. We also off laparoscopic surgery for female dogs (and also for cryptorchid males) which reduces recovery time and surgical stress by up to 65%. This state of the art procedure is not part of the low cost spay neuter program.
Compassionate care means treating your pet with individual attention and basing our treatments on the lifestyle of your pet. When it comes to pet vaccinations, different species and breeds have very different risk factors for disease. Simply put, your teacup Yorkie doesn’t need the same vaccinations as your neighbor’s hunting Labrador. Our approach allows us to minimize invasive treatments, such as laparoscopic spay & neuter, and pain (eliminating vaccinations) for your pet whenever possible.
You can help pets stay healthy with regular grooming. Regular pet grooming can eliminate a number of health risks and prevent uncomfortable skin conditions in pets.
