(We’ll also help you stay on top of pet vaccinations with annual reminders.) Aspiring veterinarian, Larry Barrette will help you settle in for your visit. As part of our commitment to being the best Brewster veterinary hospital, Roosevelt Veterinary Center offers low cost spay & neuter services. This is done every Thursday as service to the community. We also off laparoscopic surgery for female dogs (and also for cryptorchid males) which reduces recovery time and surgical stress by up to 65%. This state of the art procedure is not part of the low cost spay neuter program.
Compassionate care means treating your pet with individual attention and basing our treatments on the lifestyle of your pet. When it comes to pet vaccinations, different species and breeds have very different risk factors for disease. Simply put, your teacup Yorkie doesn’t need the same vaccinations as your neighbor’s hunting Labrador. Our approach allows us to minimize invasive treatments, such as laparoscopic spay & neuter, and pain (eliminating vaccinations) for your pet whenever possible.
