Dr. Glassman

Dr. Glassman grew up in Newburgh, NY and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy. She enrolled in the sciences department at Ithaca College where she earned a BA in Biology in 1993. Allison then moved to Astoria, Queens and went to work in Manhattan at ImClone Systems as a research associate. There her work contributed to the early development of human cancer vaccines. After two years at ImClone she decided not to pursue a PhD, but to take the first steps in becoming a veterinarian. She worked for a small animal veterinarian in Manhattan for two years before going off to Ross University, on the island of St. Kitts, in the Carribean. Before going off to vet school, Dr. Glassman married her college sweetheart Michael Faloon who is a fifth grade teacher in Greenwich, CT. They now live in Patterson with their two children, Maggie and Sean.  Unfortunately their own pets have passed but they love their stray cat who stays close to home, Brendan.

Dr. Glassman travels frequently back to St. Kitts for continuing education courses. She is also a longtime member of the USTA and plays tennis weekly at a local club.
