Animal Hospital Provides Emergency Vet Care, Spaying & Neutering, and Pet Grooming

Even our routine spaying and neutering, pet vaccinations and pet grooming services go beyond the routine. Patients of RVC do not experience excessive wait times, nor are they even expected to remain away from their pets at any time during the visit. Our open hospital policy allows and encourages owners to stay with their pets through exams, the rabies vaccination and other pet vaccinations, pet grooming, and even spay & neuter procedures, if they so choose.

Our experienced veterinarians and staff are always on hand during office hours for unforeseen emergency vet services and we also cater to urgent care needs, fitting patients into the schedule who cannot wait until their next appointment to see our vet. We also provide house calls and 24-hour-service calls when needed.

Based on the age, lifestyle, breed or even species of a pet, our veterinarian can advise on the most effective diet, pet vaccinations—including a rabies vaccination for ferrets—vitamins, minerals and other supplements that can help ensure the healthiest and lengthiest lifespan. Our goal is to not only treat pets but to educate pet owners so they can make the most informed decisions on their pets' care.

Annual checkups at Roosevelt Veterinary Hospital include a thorough exam, inoculations with any necessary pet vaccinations and, if applicable, a dental checkup for the pet. Our convenient and state-of-the art Brewster facility is equipped to handle a full range of diagnostic procedures, advanced procedures such as laparoscopic surgery done with small incisions and the use of a camera, and all other aspects of medical and dental care.

Additional services our veterinary hospital provides include feline boarding, puppy training classes and pet grooming for dogs and cats.
